Hock Lee Bus

In the early 70s when I first take a bus to my secondary school in Anson Road, there were still Hock Lee Buses. It cost me 10 cents for a one way fare and the bus conductor would punch a hole on the ticket before giving the ticket. I love collecting the bus tickets for those with special numbers like 0000, 1111, 2222, 8888..... Actually, I prefer the Tay Ko Yat Buses because their tickets are colourful and of thicker material unlike those of the Hock Lee bus with are thin and limited in colours.
